FAQs:
How long are the services?
Our services last 90 minutes and include live music from the beacon worship band, a dynamic and practical Bible teaching all within a great community of real people from all walks of life.
Am I welcome if I’m not a Christian?
100%! In fact, we built beacon just for YOU! We want our church to be a place where everyone feels welcome. You can have questions, and doubts and guess what: you’re still welcome!
Will I be singled out if I’m new?
Absolutely not! If you’re our guest, we’ll treat you well but never embarrass you. Every Sunday we have people just like you who are checking out beacon for the first time. If you don’t want it to be a big deal, we won’t make it one!
Where should I park?
Our church is currently meeting at The Bluebird Theatre. There is street and neighborhood parking near the venue. Please pay attention to parking signs if you choose to park in the surrounding neighborhoods!
Is there a dress code?
Nope. Wear whatever you like. You can "dress up" or “dress down”, you can come fresh from work or the club. We don’t care, really! God is more interested in your heart than how you’re dressed.
What about my kids?
We’ve got them covered! SPARK is our ministry just for kids (ages infant-6). In SPARK, kids participate in the worship portion of our main services, and then they have their own mini-service where they are taught the Bible in age-appropriate environments, play games, do art projects and make great friends.
